..Breaks dark from Light..

Finally, after work was working again.. Now that I'm working in Seattle, the trip up Tiger is quite a breeze..

I got off at two o'clock and pounded the pavement between Seattle Field and Poo Poo Point.. The travel time was only a little more than an hour so I was ready to launch at three thirty..

[The dramatic separation between the sun and the shade caught my attention..]

Tower of Power..

Rick W. had already launched and circled up nicely.. I waited a while for a tandem baguette; I wondered aloud if they were going to fly or if they were just going to stand there and look pretty..

Once they cleared out, my launch and initial climb to cloudbase went well..

Lake Sammamish..

After one trip over to Squawk, I ran back to the north ridge to get back to cloudbase again.. The clouds has solidified into a great street that extended quite far to the north along the Pine Lake Plateau..

I flew most of the way to Redmond at full speed and without circling.. Keeping within cloud clearance minimums was problematic..

When I got out there, my camera batteries were also a problem..

Squawk and Cougar..

Since I had to hike back up to get my truck, I made a Squawk and Cougar tour before diving into the fray over the landing area.. Fortunately, the fray was a non issue..

Trying to catch a ride on the shuttle to "the cut" was however, an issue.. Next time I'll disguise my hang glider harness as a panty bag..
