When Unstable is a Good Thing..

We made a brief stop at the Arlington Airport to see if it was going to be a DoodleBug day.. Moderate south winds and a very unstable air mass made the decision less than obvious..

The big trees at the airport were shaking enough to be of concern so we elected to continue north to Blanchard Hill..

As you can see from this image, it was the right move..

Spring Green..

If you look closely you may be able to see the wind-lines out in the bay.. As you can see, the direction was perfectly south..

That doesn't happen very often and when you factor in the instability, the fun factor goes off the scale....

Mostly Sunny..?

During the spring season, the weather idiots take the easy way out.. It's either partly cloudy or partly sunny..

Even I could have made that prediction on a day like today..
