It Should Never End This Way..

This is a good example of "what not to do"..

Don't try and launch the upper launch in light wind unless you have strong and confident launch skills..

Don't just run a few steps and then climb into your harness..

And then, if you've made those two mistakes already, don't stall the wing to further exacerbate an already difficult situation..

At that point, your wing will likely drag through the brush.. Your glider will spin around directly towards the hill.. You'll then slip free of the hill while facing the wrong way.. Now, the accelerating speed you gather is definitely not your friend..

It's an amazing sound..

The last I saw of the dazed and slightly bloodied pilot, he was on his way to a skin stitching party..
