It's All in Your Perspective..

A short time after the first few pilots took-off, I launched at 2:00.. Hooked a Louie and then hooked a doosie that yanked me up all the way..

The thermal was a little turbulent but nothing out of the ordinary for Frailey Mountain..

The clouds were working everywhere..

Oops.. We did it Again..

I made a few trips back and forth between the mountains.. One trip back was intended to get the attention of a few guys to invite them to glide out to the big hill in front..

I'm not sure if they noticed.. But, after a while, they did fly out to meet up with the goods..

By that time though, I had flown across the valley to the south..

Line of Clouds..

Dave and I ventured across towards the line of clouds.. Scott and Mike had already been over there for a while so it was obviously soarable.. Duh..

Dave got up on top of the hill while I managed to sink out in front of the hill.. I flew back towards the LZ quite low..

Not willing to give it up, I clawed my way out of the depths..

ARL..

Once I got up enough, I flew back across the valley to square one and eventually made cloudbase directly over launch..

Since we had a retrieve to do, I pulled on full spoiler (harness unzipped and held all the way open with my legs; it works just like an air-brake on a sailplane) and dove into the valley to land..
