Curious Little Cloud..

Another day away from work..

Russ and I hooked-up and bailed at a little before 2:00.. The humidity was way up there again but the instability factor afforded decent thermal all the way to cloudbase..

I thought this little cloud was pretty cool..

There's Always the Lake..

We climbed easily above the hill and then made our way west..

In that direction, there's a sparsely treed area that I'm sure one day I'll get a glimpse of  Bigfoot; sunning himself in the glowing day..

At the time, unorganized lift was the only game in town.. I stuck with it until the goods arrived.. Then it was a quick trip to the clouds....

Out There..

After a previous afternoon when patience was a killer for the day, I dove out front toward the sun.. But, as you can see, all that I left behind was a huge patch of unclouded terrain..

No problem though; the sun was briefly breaking through the high clouds that loomed above..

Patchy Sun..

Since we had a retrieve to do, I gladly explored the area for a gift area of lift..

This particular patch of sun only provided 0-50 up.. Hardly enough to keep my interest..

Besides, the Trafton Store had my 24oz Bud waiting for me in their cooler..
