First Thermal..

Finally made it up to the top today.. It's been a long wait this year.. The low snow levels throughout the winter months made the road impassable until this weekend..

Launched into classic conditions.. Made an immediate left and flew into the arms of the nicest thermal of my season so far..

The ride to cloudbase was pure joy.. And the view of the lake was spectacular..

Cloud Filled Sky..

Once we made it to altitude, the rest was pretty much a no brainer.. I made multiple trips back and forth between the mountains and between the clouds..

I did manage to get low a few times.. But, the saving bubbles were out in full force this afternoon..

When I hooked up Tony and my 137 XtraLite, I should have known that the two of them would be a dangerous combination.. It seems like I spend way too much time chasing the two of them around the sky..

I did get the last word today though....

Jack's Place..

After a most enjoyable time in the big hills, the boys and I dashed over to Ebby Hill.. I watched Dennis and Tony circle around on top of Ebby as they slowly lost it.. I lucked into some great lift way out in front of the hill and got up pretty good..

Good enough to make a play at going back into the mountains again.. Not quite though..
