Rampart LZ..

The lake is down plenty for decent landings at the regular LZ..

We got a late start today.. We should have been a couple of hours earlier.. How were we supposed to know that the sunshine and blue skies were out there..

The web-cams weren't much help..

Low Cloudbase..

The lift was as smooth and went right up to the clouds.. 

After watching a large soaring bird circle up to cloudbase, the trip to the first set of rocks was well worth the glide..

Cloud Cap..

There were a few good thermals that took us up all the way.. This one was out front..

Most of the lift was in tight with the hill though..

Vitamin "R"..

Not long after we had our way with the hill, the clouds to the south began to get that look.. The bottoms drooped and it was obviously going to rain..

The lift shut down right about that time too.. Great landing conditions on the lakebed today..
