Tony's Moyes XtraLite..

There was quite a breeze blowing at Frailey Mountain today.. We all managed to work it out though..

There was a time when this glider was the nicest looking glider around.. Then, Tony bought it from me and it had to take a back seat to my new LiteSpeed.. Tony is flying it excellently..

Brad's Russia, Ac4k..

I was fortunate to be able to spend a few minutes flying with Brad in his Russia.. What a nice sailplane.. He only circled in the vicinity for a short time..

The last I saw of him he was headed south towards a nice looking cloud over Ebby Hill..

Cloudbase at Wheeler..

After trying to beat my way into the west wind, the soccer fields at Arlington was where I turned around.. I drifted back to Ebby Hill and worked my way up high enough to dart back to Wheeler..

I arrived even with the top and then scored a 1,200 fpm trip to cloudbase; 5,800 feet..

OK.. Now What..?

The west wind had really picked up by this time.. Since my truck was parked up at the Cicero Bridge, I elected to try and fly back.. I made it within a mile or so..

Unbelievable day..! I covered a ton of ground (and sky) today..!
