Two Out of Three..

Got off work at 2:18.. Put it into high gear and raced to Tiger.. Tossed my stuff together as fast as I could and launched at 4:50.. Climbed through the jelly boys and made my way to the north ridge..

Hooked up with three bald  youngsters and circled up with the gaggle.. Only these two cooperated for the camera for this shot..

The Shy One..

This guy was a little more difficult to get into the frame.. He appeared to be less interested in getting his picture taken than the other two..

There was good lift over the towers even this late in the afternoon.. My vario batteries died early on but there was no way to miss the thermals.. I blindly blundered my way to 5,000 feet..

Spring Showers..

A hugely unstable spring day usually brings at least some sort of precipitation.. The mountains were lit up with new snow and with snow showers..

If you were skiing today, I'll bet there would have been some great spring corn snow conditions.. I gave up sliding in favor of flying..

Aerial Highway..

The Cascade range boosted up a nice looking cloud street.. That sky road arcs it's way into the distance.. There's no doubt that some hungry XC pilot could have gone far today..

An earlier launch time would have been better.. But, I'm a working stiff...
