Riffe Lake..?

The lake is way down..! wow.. I think that the conditions at Dog may be a little bit different than in past seasons.. With all that bare ground to heat up, it might be better than usual..

There will certainly be more dust to contend with this year though.. When we arrived, there was a huge dust cloud almost completely obscuring the surrounding terrain..

North towards Morton..

The predictions for east wind turned out to be completely wrong.. We made the trip hoping to fly Hopkins.. When we rolled into town, reality was a fresh breeze from the west..

No problem, fly Dog instead.. 

Rod Wickham..

Rod's got a brand new Laminar MRx.. Way cool glider..! He seems to think that he'll be able to keep pace with my LiteSpeed.. We will have to see about that...

Dog's no place to figure that one out.. Let's go east and crank it up..

Today's trip to the Morton area worked out pretty good.. A couple hours of airtime is always a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon..
