That Snowy Cliff..

I remember last month's great flying.. Climbing up the rock face.. Enjoying the late summer sun... Now, the snow has begun to retake the high country.. 

Jimmy, Brian, Chris and I took a chance and tried our luck at Rampart.. We were not disappointed..

Snow Launch..

The road to launch, the set-up area, and the launch ramp were all free of the white stuff.. Everywhere else though, had a covering of the first snowfall of the season..

The remaining remnants of the fall foliage struggled to keep it's red and yellow offerings exposed for our enjoyment..

Invisible Glider..

Most of the time, a white glider is a good thing.. But when the surrounding terrain is blanketed in white, white leading edges make great camouflage..

Look closely.. There really is a glider in the picture..

Jimmy in the Sky..

We all flew until a snow squall dropped in to make things a little bit too interesting.. Flying during the squall was no problem..

Since the freezing level was between us and the LZ, landing in the melted shower was problematic to say the least..
