ATOS Floats..

Late summer flying at Blanchard Hill is a treat.. Especially when you can catch it after working for most of the day.. 

We launched at around 3:15 PM into light ridge/thermal conditions..

Brent in his ATOS just seemed to float around effortlessly.. area

I don't recall ever seeing the ATOS banked up at all today.. I was looking up at it the whole time though..

As the flight progressed, the wind direction shifted from almost due south to northwest..

At the end of the flight, that wind shift made for some quick decision making in the landing area..

Flying the West Side..

It was no easy task to figure out which side of the hill to fly.. We made reasonable climbs out towards the Bat Caves but when you weren't going up, you were getting drilled pretty good..
