Keep a watchful eye at all times while out on the plateau..

Lower Grand Coulee..

Soap Lake, Lake Lenore, Alkali Lake, Blue Lake, Park Lake, Sun Lakes and Banks Lake pepper the desert terrain with the soothing blue of cool, clear, water..

Irrigation canals move the precious fluid  into an otherwise arid landscape..

Moses Lake..

Grant County Airport is north of the town of Moses Lake.. That airspace is a good place to avoid..

Crop circles dot the region from Ephrata southward to I-90.. With the constant irrigation activities in this area, the thermal production was reduced to almost zero..

Winchester Wasteway..

The irrigated crop circles take a brief break for the Winchester Wasteway area..

Rather than landing in a swamp.. I elected to land in a freshly cropped straw field right next to the highway..
