Blue Sky and Thermals..

Steve Holte launched first and proved that it was indeed thermal soarable..

Easy climbs to near 4,000 feet on the mountain.. There were some sink cycles but the LS4 weathered the storm nicely.. area

View of Mount Higgins..

Decent clouds adorned Mount Higgins all day.. An easy glide in a sailplane but a challenge in a hang glider..

Cloudbase was quite high in the mountains.. There were no clouds on Frailey Mountain today so we only got to 5,000 feet..

Who was Juan De Fuca..?

Haze and a west wind had a suppressing effect on the outlying areas...

The thermals were smooth for the most part and there was an odd convergence or wave effect that made the crossing to Stimpson Hill a breeze..

Wing Shot..

You can barely see Mount Baker behind the wing of my LiteSpeed....

The LiteSpeed flies fantastic.. The control pressures and bar pressure on glide are almost nonexistent.. The work-load is pretty close to zero..!
