On the way to Lamoine..

Left the Butte at 7,100 feet and crossed towards the Lamoine area.. The LS4 loves to glide fast..!

When I arrived at the rim there was a great thermal that got me up to around 8,000 feet..

Smooth climb.. area

Beebe Bridge..

Not much in the way of cumulus clouds but the conditions were still decent....

Waterville Plateau..

Haze and high clouds filtered through the region as the day progressed..

The thermals were smooth but very light at times.. The climbs were slow and spaced quite far apart..

I'm glad I had the new Moyes to glide between the widely spaced lifting areas..

Moses Coulee..

Most of the flight was a struggle.. I almost had to land here in the coulee but a flock of sparrows thermaling in a feeding frenzy got me back up to altitude..

From this point on I think the batteries in my camera began to give up.. I thought I had taken a great shot of the high school ball field that I landed in.. Oh well..
