Lakeside launch into northeast conditions proved to be a pure delight..

Lake Chelan shines pure and blue against an unstable sky..

This picture was taken from just below 8,000 feet..

North..

Sun, shadows, blue sky and clouds.. All of the elements required for an outstanding visual experience..

The spring green highlights made the views even more spectacular.

South, Down the Columbia..

The Columbia River winds it's way southward towards Wenatchee..

A brief foray in this direction resulted in an interesting glide back to the Chelan Butte area..

Back to Chelan..

Here's a view that you may not have seen before.. I chased a developing cloud out toward the tunnel on ALT 97..

Now I've got to glide back.. My luck was only partially with me on that trip..
