Back at Baker..

Seems like everywhere we fly there's a volcano just waiting to explode..!

No explosion today.. Just exploding thermals as the lift reached the thick inversion layer..

Thick Inversion..

I've included this image to show the previously mentioned "thick inversion layer" that dominated the day.. 

Somewhere deep in the haze you can almost see Blanchard Hill and the San Juan Islands..

I should pull out a map and provide you with the names of the mountains and valleys that you can see in this image..

Maybe another time.. I'm feeling lazy today..

A familiar sight for the initiated flyers of this site.. So far this season, every flight from this site has been from a snow covered launch..

As you can see from this shot, there's still snow on top..
