This shot was taken shortly after an interesting launch into strong ridge-lift conditions and shortly before my fingers froze..!

Bats in Hibernation

The infamous "Bat Caves" look like a great place to hibernate for the winter..

I'm glad I'm not a bat.. I think I'd rather spend the time curled up around a warm (fill-in-the-blank)..

Looking North to Bellingham

Myself and a number of pilots spend a great deal of time out on Chuckanut Mountain.. Tommy and Don flew all the way to Bellingham and back..!

Southwest to Anacortes

Plenty of great sights and plenty of cold but happy hang glider pilots..

Today might just have made up for the many wasted winter trips up Blanchard Hill.. I have lost count of the number of times that I've gone up the hill and have not flown..

Great way to start Fly2K..!
